Poetry as a Window Workshop
The focus of this workshop will be to explore how reading poetry from queer authors can be a tool to help us gain a better understanding of ourselves and others. This is NOT a poetry writing workshop or a workshop focused on critiquing poetry. Even if you are someone who has never "liked" poetry, this workshop can be for you! As a group, we will collectively read/listen to poems and then use the poems as jumping off points for reflective writing. After doing some written reflection, we'll come together and debrief how the poems made us feel and what it made us think about.
This workshop is open to any LGBTQIA+ (including questioning) person ages 18+.
